This policy explains what information is collected when you visit comedynerd.online ("ComedyNerd"), why it's collected, and what choices you have.

Who is responsible

ComedyNerd is the data controller for this website. You can reach it at hello@comedynerd.online.

What is collected

Server logs. The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. Like any web host, Vercel processes the technical data needed to deliver pages and protect the site, such as your IP address, browser type, the page you requested and the time of the request.

Fonts. The site's typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google when a page loads.

Email. If you email ComedyNerd, your message and address are kept so we can reply and keep a record of tips and corrections. You won't be added to any mailing list.

ComedyNerd doesn't run its own visitor analytics and doesn't ask you to create an account.

Advertising and cookies

ComedyNerd uses Google AdSense to show ads.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

How long data is kept

Emails are kept for as long as they're needed for the conversation and our record of corrections, then deleted. Server logs and advertising data are kept according to Vercel's and Google's own retention policies.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete personal data held about you, object to how it's processed, or withdraw your consent at any time by emailing hello@comedynerd.online. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live.

Children

ComedyNerd is written for adults and isn't directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will change too.
